Sadly, I've had to cut bacon pretty much out of my diet since I had a cardiac stent implanted last year.

Oh, the flavors bacon gives to everything! Isn't there a meme that says something like, "Is there anything that doesn't taste better with bacon?"

We went to a wake on NY's Staten Island and stopped at a seafood shop. They were unloading the fresh clams as we walked in so the Landlady(!) decided to get two dozen. She's making linguini with clam sauce and I think I'm a very lucky man.
