Tossed salad with raw vegetables like peppers and carrots; on top ranch dressing with chow mein noodles added for crunch.
Crab-filled Inarizushi, which is sushi rice topped with flaked crab in a fried tofu pouch. The crab has sauce on it--not sure how to describe it, but it's quite delicious. If I had to describe it, I think I'd say it's like mayonnaise with sesame oil in it, plus maybe some other ingredient. Bought at the local sushi bar.
I'm going to experiment with a cookie tonight. On the base will be a chocolate tea biscuit and on top of that, melted white chocolate. Sliced strawberries topped with agave over the chocolate.

(17,483 posts)I put some pork spare ribs in the oven to slow cook. Just a salt, pepper and garlic powder dry rub.
They will get sauced and broiled to finish much later.
No sides so far. When TJ and FLFC arise tonight we can figure out sides.

(15,090 posts)I made a huge batch earlier today. January puts me in a soup mood. Also a hunk of cheese because a girl needs protein.
