Good morning, irisblue!

Coffee, bran flakes with milk and an apple on my walk to work.

We're expecting 3-4 inches in NYC. Dinner will have to be comfort food!

Coffee w/ cream, 2 poached, hamburger patty and hashbrowns. Same old same old here in SLC. Waiting for nothing, waiting on no one. Just me and the doggies.

That was the last of my commercial yoghurt; I'm making yoghurt today for the first time with a yoghurt maker gifted to us by my daughter-in-law.

What a breakfast plate! Last night the RG made this combination of Savoy cabbage and potatoes. It was cooked and blended together. We had just a little last night and on the top was crema Mexicana flavored with dill pickle. Chives sprinkled over it. Now, I know that sounds unusual, but it was outrageously good. He told me his grandmother invented that recipe and that's when I thought, "Ah, now I know this talent of his runs in the family." He's told me stories about his mother's cooking that also makes me think that. I do not have his gift, the ability to "taste things" in my head.

This morning he made that combo into a "cake" which had a golden brown crust. In addition to that, a little scrambled egg with sausage and turkey bacon. Slice of apple strudel and some sliced mandarins.
