Lamb roast cubes, warmed up in the slow cooker from a roast a few days ago.
Roasted potato, also cubed, with garlic, rosemary.
Two salads:
-Sliced, layered mango slices. In between is a dressing made of a little avocado, cilantro, crema Mexicana and a few other items I can't remember.
-Tossed green salad with mandarin oranges, cucumber, celery, and carrot. Sesame orange dressing.
No dessert tonight, but hot ginger tea after our meal.

(32,727 posts)two whole lambs..Been buying one a year and it just doesn't last. Lucky this year as I got a deer and a friend gave a goat that was also good. All local and other than the deer, processed locally. I cut and wrapped the deer. Trying to stay away from grain fed beef and pork.

The Landlady(!) and I over-ate this weekend and we haven't spoken about food all day, which is really weird for us.
According to DUer Floyd R. Turbo, today is National New England Clam Chowder Day. Perhaps that will inspire us.
Here's his post from this morning:

(2,162 posts)roasted with carrots, potatoes, sweet onions and a bulb of garlic. Can't wait to get home and put it in the oven. It's cold and rainy here today but I will have a cozy dinner!

(5,676 posts)Chicken noodle soup using my neighbor's onions, carrots grown north of Toronto. Also french baguettes that I started mixing at 7 am today. Dessert later will be homemade sour cherry muffins. Cold here today (St. Petersburg, FL) so just had to hang out in my kitchen and ENJOY myself.

(38,582 posts)I hope we don't buy them again. My guy wanted them, I guess they bring back memories of simpler times. I think they're nasty.
Leftover mac & cheese.
There's still ice cream for dessert, I think.
