snow blower not starting!

It started up just fine a few weeks back when there was no freaking snow! but now? Noooooooooooooooo........

It has an electric starter and a pull cord, neither seem to engage the engine at all.... though in all fairness you never could seem to get it to pull start when it was "cold", but could later after it had been running.

Nothing is happening. You push the starter button and complete silence. I'm pretty sure I have all the levers turned in the right direction.

Sears 22" 5.5 two stage . . . any ideas?

It's hard to pull.... just NOTHING happens. I don't "hear" then engine trying to start or anything.

3. Spark plug connected? Is there a primer (rubber button you press to pump gas into the engine)?

Pump the primer 5-6 times. If you smell gas, stop.

Then try again.

did all the things I usually do. Turned it "on", set the throttle, pushed the gas button, and pushed the starter. Nada. Not even a peep.

9. If you're getting silence, the battery might not be connecting at all.

Old car trick is to tap the terminals with a hammer, then try again. Or does it plug into the wall to start?
