My garden supervisors

It was a flat-out gorgeous day today—crystal clear, low humidity, temperature in the 70s—so I headed out to weed the front garden. Two of our seven cats were on hand to supervise. I don’t think I’ve ever gardened without at least one supervisor cat. It’s like they think I won’t do it right without their input. Our senior cat, The Princess Lard Ass, expects to be carried back to the house when her supervisory duties are finished.

If I stop and try to get any work done she gets right under my hand. Thankfully she tires of me after a while.
