What a sadistic piece of filth. There have to be REAL sentences for these crimes! Poor Cody.

An "evil" man who set fire to a family's pet dog has been sentenced to 10 months in jail.

Andrew Richard Stewart, 23, pleaded guilty to causing unnecessary cruelty to an animal in August 2012 after he doused Cody in diesel and set her on fire.

The three-year-old border collie was so badly burned that her ribs and other joints were visible through the charred flesh.

She survived for two weeks but had to be put down after vets concluded the animal would never fully recover.... MORE

He deserves much worse. I hope he is prevented from ever having another animal in his life. Bless Cody. She is free of pain now.

He should be banned for life. Mr. Stewart should also undergo a mandatory psych evaluation, as he is a sadistic psychopath who will be loose on the streets again in 10 months.

I was too mad the first time. It should be for life, definitely. People like this psychopath with turn on humans, too. Is there any treatment for this sick mind?
