i are a terrible hoomin

the dim kitty made a jail break last night, something she does more evenings than not. she goes out to eat grass, but has lately been taking tours of the apartment complex. it's not a freakout-worthy event because i can go up and call her back after a few minutes.

well, i forgot about her last night and around six this morning i hear this loud and piteous mew coming from the patio......

fortunately she's dim and has a very short memory, so she immediately got into the bed with me when she came inside, but i still feel like a jerk for forgetting her.
