In Westchester, New York, a little kitten took shelter from the cold, under a car hood. The car owners drove to Manhattan and parked until hours later - but the cat was somehow okay.

With freezing temperatures, limited food sources and little shelter from the elements, many turn to unusual tactics to keep safe and warm.
