England: parrots worth thousands stolen from man's home

In Castleton, England, a parrot owner is distraught after thieves made off with his two prized pets.

From the article:

Two parrots worth almost £3,000 were snatched during a break in.

Burglars left behind an iPad and watch as they took the two birds - African Grey, Barney, and Amazon, Amber - from a home in Castleton, Rochdale.

What kind of jerks would hurt beautiful birdees? Honestly.

maybe some macaws or something.
i dont think that either species is on the endangered list, as he says, but...

hope he gets them back.

A similar theft occurred locally. The thief posted the birds'pictures on Facebook, was arrested the same day, and the birds were safely home within an hour.
