I miss her happy face and cheerful demeanor more than I thought I would. We found her the perfect home where she will thrive and be loved so much. Of course, she will give back so much more.
Farewell sweet Daisy. You are a very lucky girl.

(18,219 posts)I am glad that she found a forever home, but I am sure you will miss her. I am in awe of people like you who can foster animals when they need it, and then give them to someone else when a home is found. It takes a special person.

(2,747 posts)Hi,
I am doing great!!! I am the center of attention and loving it!!! There is a kitty cat that lives here who tries to get up close and personal. I am not sure about him yet but am being very polite. He is also being very polite to me. I think we will be good friends soon.
Overall, the eats here are very good. I am on a diet so I can get into my bikini this summer!!!
The Mommy Lady who lives here is very nice to me and I think she likes me a lot. She grooms me and plays with me and talks to me all the time. I think I make her happy.
Last night I made it clear to her that I did not want to sleep in my bedroom crate so she put my favorite blankies on that big cushy bed and put it right beside her own bed!! I slept all night until 7 AM. I think I will be tired for a few days from all the excitement and from my efforts to fit in.
I just wanted you to know that I miss you and watched for you to come back in the front door. But I have figured out that I belong here now. I am trying hard to be a good girl just as you taught me. I know you will be proud to hear that I am making a good start in my new home.
Lots of love from
Your Daisy
I'm so happy for her but . I didn't mention that she lived with me for 8 months.

QED
(2,747 posts)she was scheduled to be euthanized because she was very chubby and older, maybe 9 years old. Our director saw something in her - that beautiful spark of joy. With me she lost half of what she needed to lose. Her new mom will take her the rest of the way - she won't want for anything.
