Grandma and golden retriever bike for charity

A 66-year-old grandmother-of-nine has embarked on the latest stage of a charity bike ride along the North Wales coast – with another three months to go.

Maggie Scorer set out in March on a 5,000-mile trip around Britain’s coast, but she is not alone, as she is towing her golden retriever Oscar in a specially made trailer. She set out from her home in Aldeburgh, Suffolk, cycling anti-clockwise and is covering about 30 miles a day.
