Related: About this forum*** I have new puppies! ***
It's been just over a year since I lost my last dog and I knew I wanted to get some pups for the summer when my kids would be home. But you know how this goes. Once you put the word out that you are looking, the emails and pictures start coming in from good meaning friends. So even though it was a bit sooner than ideal, we now have Lila and Sam - rottweiler mix puppies. They have all the markings of rotts but Sam's head is more of a black lab's head. And he's long and skinny. They did have health issues (lost 4 of 8 in the litter!) but we seem to be in the all clear now and my vet thinks they are going to be fine.
I don't know what day it is! The time is filled with playing, eating, potty breaks, more playing. Lila is dominant and takes every toy/stick/shoe away from Sammy every chance she gets.
I made it to work ONE day - on a Sunday no less. It's like I have twin infants. I can work from home just a tiny bit but who wants to work when you can hold puppies?
The family is thrilled and we are having so much fun with them. I will try to post pictures once I get some good shots. Right now, my pics are just black blobs.

Suggestion for photos: get out in natural sunlight, and then make sure you catch the glint in their eyes. I take pictures of cats, and the black ones are hardest to do!

Thanks for the tip!
