Doors and Dogs?

Any big secrets on how to keep the doors from being scratched/chewed?
I keep nails trimmed, and have applied bitter apple, but to no effect!
He also gets his kong stuffed with treats along with other toys when I have to leave.

These are the hollow core doors, btw, so yeah. I'm worried.

TIA.

You can get very thin ones. They used to put them on the bottom parts of doors. n/t TygrBright Oct 2016 #3

but I wonder if a hollow door would be tough enough to hold a metal plate? In my case, I'd need a large (tall one).

Worth considering though. Thank you.
