(21,719 posts)Not much room for the food in the belly. But she has been eating like crazy since she had them, her food bowl always has food in it

(33,034 posts)When TJ the Magnificent had kittens, I was too young to pay attention to her food needs. Thanks for teaching me & all my questions.

(21,719 posts)I have a feeling that this wasn't her first litter, her teats were hanging pretty low when she came to me almost 2 weeks before she gave birth.

(9,842 posts)Bless you MiniMe for fostering this large family. I only have 4 kittens and can't imagine how you are coping with a large dog and all those pups. Looks like you have a perfect set up, though. I need to work on my kitten habitats.

(28,127 posts)It touches me so much...tearing up a bit, since I know this mom may not have made it and none of this would have happen without one concerned, kind soul who spotted and saved this momma.
And thanks to you, M, and all the compassionate folks at Lab Rescue of the LRCP. A little plug: https://www.lab-rescue.org
I LOVE ALL DOGS passionately, all breeds, even sweet Pitties. But just by chance, closeness, and ownership, Labs and Collies (BC and standards) have especially stolen my heart.
Btw, I love mousers too...my longest and closest companion was talkative siamese, only one of many I served.

(17,640 posts)...spit and vinegar and on their way to their forever homes. It goes SO fast! Mine is 15 weeks now and shes already starting to look like a mature dog. One day she was a fluffy little puppy the next day she grew tall enough to counter surf!

(21,719 posts)They don't turn into vampires until 5-6 weeks. The last 2 weeks they will be here are hell. Takes my arms weeks to heal up

(13,468 posts)And our younger dog just turned one, LOL. I was watching pics like you posted on his breeder's FB page this time last year (except a Border Collie version).
God I love dogs, they are the best things on Earth!

(4,221 posts)They are so sweet. We had a yellow lab that looked just like Mama. We got her at 6 weeks and her belly looked just like those babies. Looking at these sweet pups just changes my outlook on the world.
