Pups 7.5 weeks

Sorry, they little buggers have been keeping me busy! This is always the hardest week. They should all be leaving on Friday and Saturday. They are so cute, and so sweet. We went to the vet on Friday, all healthy. 1 has a very minor heart murmur which may disappear on its own. And we took them out 2 at a time today so we could keep track of them.

She is drying up nicely. She loves her pups, and likes playing with them, as long as they don't try to nurse. She is still working on getting that message to the babies.

She was a stray to the shelter. I don't think it was her first litter, but we just don't know. She will miss her pups, but in a way, it will be a relief. As I said before, they have sharp teeth now, and all they want to do is nurse from her.

knows the pups don't need to nurse anymore. They are just beautiful--happy, healthy, and adorable.
