Actually petting them does lower a person's blood pressure, stress and anxiety. This is why I used to volunteer taking them to hospitals, nursing homes and recovery units. They truly are the best medicine for people. Most people are healthier when they live around animals instead of other people. Our furry friends give so much and ask for so little in return.

Now he loves me to pet him and sleeps near me.

It took many scratches on my hands, but each scratch was worth the change in him.

He now will attack my hands, but with his claws in and more like play then a fight..

And he LOVES mouse videos!
