That we got from the shelter 11 years ago as a one year old (not certain about the age since she was a stray). A couple of years later a neighbor of ours got a dog that looks just like her from a garage sale. The two dogs interact in ways they do not with any other dogs (high pitched yelps and growls). Supposedly the other dog is two years older than our dog, but we have our suspicions that our dog might have been more than a year when we got her. The could be litter mates. They are saddleback blue merles with heavy tails.

Perhaps they are siblings. They are both great companions. My daughter trialed her dog for years in agility and she competed nationally three times finishing fourth twice (and first as a Junior Handler handled dog).

What an awesome dog! I do dog agility (poorly) and that is really awesome! I would guess that an Aussie/Sheltie mix would be one heck of an agility dog! And both breeds are smart and sweet! Cool about the neighbor's dog being so like yours. My older dog (Border Collie mix) came from the shelter as a puppy and I was driving through another neighborhood one day and there was a male dog in someone's yard that looked just like her, I had to wonder.....
