I nominate Amanda for Mother Of The Year

This is Amanda, who lives in Temuca, Chile.



She rescued her puppies from a burning house. In this picture, she is putting one of her pups on a fire truck.



And here she is protecting them where she sheltered them in a niche on the fire truck. All but one of them survived, but not through any lack of courage on Amanda's part.
