It's been 2 months now, since Kira moved in.

Raven, my black cat, refuses to come down out of the cat tree, and she and Kira will actually fight, with swats, growls and screaming.

I don't want to take the cat tree down since Raven would sit somewhere else up high and pee up there.
(She has a small litter box on the tree.)

Any advice?

I think that it's pretty clear that they aren't gonna kill each other, that would have happened by now. What you do have to look forward to is a very gradual thawing of relations between the two and being that Raven is the house boss, ( 1st one in) she will never se Kira as an equal unless you move to a new house and introduce them together. They'll be fine. It took my Female more than a year to stop snapping at the main house cat.

Give Raven most of the House. Give the new cat a guest bedroom, not the main bedroom. Chance that Raven comes down from the cat tree to smell Kira through the bottom of the door. Little cat paws will go in and out from the bottom of the door. They will start to play. Let them play like that for a few days till Raven is dying to have the door opened.

May not work but worth a try.

One of my girls gets really really angry with the outside ferals. The generic feliway has helped a lot.
