I am so proud of my dog

My dog has been very lucky in terms of health and not had to do alot of vet stuff. Well his luck has run out and he had to have several teeth removed and I got him fixed as his prostate was getting large. It has been a little over a week and he is doing amazing. Heck even the next day he was doing fairly well. Now he is back to his usual self. Only thing is he still is eating his dry food with water but otherwise he is right as rain. I would have never given him credit for being a tough doggie but he has proven me wrong.

he had a pretty bad infection but we got that cleaned up and got rid of the cause with the teeth.

He refuses to eat wet food. All he has is his canines and 2 incisors, and he eats dry food with no problem. He even ate the dry food the day he had the molars removed. There is no chewing, but hell, there never was. He's a trooper too. They bounce back so well.

Glad to hear that everything is going well now.

in a couple of days to see what he does. I am glad yours is doing so well. I know what you mean about the chewing. Mine has like 10 teeth left but none of his big ones.

I bet he does just fine. And if not, it isn't much of a problem to add water to the food. I actually did try that, but Sammy refused to wait the few minutes it would take to soften the food up anyways.

I put his food on the counter for the time it took to soften. Cats can climb though so guess that won't work for you.
