Poor Carys is having a bit of a traumatic time

My friend is visiting from California. She's the one who helped me catch Carys and her siblings, last year.

Carys has been in hiding for most of a week. After a few days she started to come out for treats at night and times, like now, my friend is spending a few days with other friends so Carys is out during the day.

The rest of the kidcats just LOVE having an extra dose of attention.

This morning Carys meowed at me, which she hasn't done in AGES, so that made me very happy. I've also been slipping her some extra treats.

A few more days and then things will get back to normal for her.

The questions I've asked about regarding the kitten seems to have been resolved thanks to you. Leo, the kitten is now using the cat litter, very playful and happy. What a journey but worth it.

I do enjoy reading about your journeys with your cats.

Again thank you.

I was just checking on the outdoor kittens. Rhian wasn't there when I brought out the food. It always concerns me when one is missing, BUT she's now munching away.

She just came up to me for some scritches!! That's so rare, especially during the daytime.

…or just with this person? Do you think she remembers your friend being complicit in her capture?

Our 4 cats are on alert today. We’re having a new roof put on, and it’s really noisy. No one is hiding in the basement, so they are getting used to the cacophony fairly quickly.

A little while ago she came up to me for some scritches, which rarely happens. I had to go out and buy more cat litter and by the time I got home she was back in hiding.

Hopefully she will come out, again, while it's just me in the house.
