I presume he is an outside that you take care of. I've been feeding one since May of 2022. He was banged up last winter and did use the tote we set up for him (which we've "improved" for this winter). PetAg makes high calorie gel as well as vitamin and mineral gel. Gave him the vitamin and mineral gel last winter (he did use his tote). He wasn't looking good this summer, thought he wouldn't make it. He's a tough one however and looks pretty good now. I've been giving him the high cal gel since November with the occasional shot of vitamin/mineral gel. We're finally going to get snow and colder weather so I hope he makes use of his tote. It is insulated and surrounded by straw bales (except for the entry way). I'd love to TNR but he's savvy plus I need a smaller live trap so he doesn't injure himself. And come nicer weather (read: no earlier than May). Thank you for looking out for him.

Although you should search on Purina deaths currently. There appears to be a big problem. Friskies is owned by them. Just totally removed my kitties from Purina.

possible issues with PurinaOne and a couple others. Sensitive Stomach??? Cats and dogs. It is currently ongoing while names and info are getting gathered. Sadly Companies like to keep info like this quiet as long as they can but having been in the Menu Foods 2017 pet poisoning lawsuit, my memory of it haunts me. I removed their Friskies (owned by Mars/Purina) dry as their kitty crack the other day.Surprisingly they are eating more of their Gather so it tells me something was possibly not right with their Friskies even.

Purina has recently changed their recipe ingredients, etc...dry and wet. I got some cans of center gravies cat a month ago full of maggots. Dealt with Purina on that.

My 2 boys are strictly indoors. Some years ago my daughter thought it would be fine to let her Eddie on the deck in the summer. Now he’s an indoor/outdoor cat (which I warned her about) who always comes home when he’s hungry, and as affectionate as ever. They keep a collar and name tag on him so people know he’s somebody’s cat.

ones. All three are happy inside except Tom who tries on occasion to escape out the door but my GS goes after him and has so far stopped him by cornering him. Outdoor cats usually end up sick or dead. I am vigilant and spoil them inside rotten.

A neighborhood cat adopted us (sort of) 3 years ago when we moved here. Very street smart, would come and go as he pleased.

I managed to get his confidence enough to ride with me in the car to the vet for checkup and shots. We named him Tiger for the vet records, because of his magnificent stripes.

He's like your Tiger, still comes and goes, and we worry. He knows, though, that he can come in anytime for dinner, treats and a nap

I've finally stopped worrying about Rhian when she's not waiting for me in the morning. She seems to like going on pre dawn rambles. If I feed the porch kitcats just a little later, she's always first in line for kisses and scritches. And, of course, food.
