Big Tent News: First LBGTQ Marriage- King County, Washington State

First Gay Marriage- King County, Washington State

Jane Abbott Lighty and Pete-e Petersen were given the first same-sex marriage license in King County at 12:01 a.m. Dec. 6, 2012. King County Executive Dow Constantine signed the license for them and several other couples as the King County Administration stayed open all night.
