ATF agent robbed at gunpoint during drug investigation

A bandit put a gun to the head of a federal agent last week during a drug investigation on the West Side, authorities say.

Robert Jefferson and Michael Parrish are charged with robbery in the Thursday rip-off of an undercover agent for the U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. During the holdup, the agent fired a shot at Parrish but missed, officials said.

How can this happen? Aren't handguns illegal in Chicago? Maybe if the politicians pass a couple hundred more laws, everything will be ok.

Yea, right.

and if I can ever get the damn thing to work, all firearms everywhere in the world will simply disappear.

Of course, that will just be a good start. Then I'll have to develop a spell that will stop the manufacture of any more firearms. Finally I will have to work on one to make all swords, knives, clubs and archery equipment disappear. We will all live in a peaceful utopia if I succeed.

Unfortunately, I keep hearing rumors that the evil NRA has a magician working on a spell to counter mine.

but you do have a valid point to a degree. I always found it odd that it is easier to carry a gun (and legally buy one) in places you are least likely to need one (like Vermont and Wyoming) and almost impossible in places that you do (like Chicago and USVI).
