Basically under the Castle Doctrine, you have a right to defend yourself as the occupant of the home against an intrusion.”

It's a damn shame when you have to defend the home of the dead.

One the other hand it's refreshing to see a firearm used to defend life and property. Not sure there's much to learn from this incident besides having your SD firearm always at the ready.
