The New York Times reported Tuesday that Bloomberg plans to spend $50 million of his estimated $31 billion fortune this year to combat the National Rifle Association. Speaking of his advocacy of liberal causes like gun-control and preventing New Yorkers from enjoying Big Gulp sodas, Bloomberg told the Times, reportedly with a grin, I am telling you if there is a God, when I get to heaven Im not stopping to be interviewed.
I am heading straight in, he went on. I have earned my place in heaven. Its not even close.
In pursuing his self-professed heavenly mission to fight gun rights, Bloomberg says he plans to be ruthless in opposing politicians who refuse to fall in line on the issue.

(16,974 posts)sincere on this he would spend at least 10% or around 3 billion on this. This is just pocket change to this former republican. He is still just doing an AstroTurf campaign that will not work. A billionaire with w few hundred thousand followers compared to a hundred million firearms owners.

With that ego, typical of gun controllers that think they are on a higher moral plane, he can probably just float in.
The funny part will be if it turns out that in the heaven Bloomberg would go to, Charlton Heston IS Moses and would put a sandal up his ass.
