The Virginia one gun a month law is a joke when private sales are legal....

and there is no requirement to register guns or report sales.

Besides, what do the anti's think this is going to prevent? If a guy wants to go on a two gun shooting rampage then all he has to do is buy a 2nd gun in a private sale or wait two months to do it.

These laws that do nothing are a joke. And they are fake security.

Criminals don't abide by laws anyway. You can pass all the laws you want. It's not like the criminals will change their mind because there is a law. That is why they are criminals!

They had hoped this would lead from 1 gun a month to no guns a month. Only it never materialized....now it looks like the one gun a month law may bite the dust.

Personally, I think they ought to require a psychological assessment for anyone who can't get by with a gun a month. Damdist stuff I've heard.

You're overreaching in the point you are trying to make.

Sure words can incite. But are the impassioned armed? That's when the acting out happens.

Yes. Everyone is armed. The deadliest weapon so far devised is the human mind.
Felons in prisons have made an incredible variety of stabbing and slashing weapons, zip guns...

To quote a popular movie, "Where there's a will, there's a weapon."
