Rather queer to call "GunViolence®" an epidemic when violence using guns is declining. Even more curious when you can find neighborhoods with blow-it-out violence in close proximity to neighborhoods with low violence. Yellow fever and bubonic didn't care about nighborhoods.

And the old hand-crank siren of "30,000 gun deaths" when two-thirds of these are suicides. Perhaps there is a Romulon Plasma Anomaly combined with tonsilar syphillis which causes folks to check out of the Hotel California, but I suspect the causes are more psychological; choice of conveyance is a rather inert secondary choice.
