Retired trooper shoots intruder in Bluffton home

“Wise warned Rowell he was armed, Rowell continued to insist on coming inside. Wise then discharged a round in the air in hopes of dissuading Rowell. Instead, Rowell attacked Wise, assaulting him and attempting to take Wise’s gun,” according to the release.

“The two men continued to struggle as Rowell forced his way into the home, at which time Wise fired several shots, striking and killing Rowell. Wise sustained no injuries as a result of the attack.

Some people are hard headed it seems.....and I notice this time a "warning shot" only served to endanger the homeowner further.

Unfortunately the message they send is 'I'm not really willing to use deadly force to defend myself."

Got a woman 20 years down in Florida. 10, 20, Life.

She 'won' the twenty year prize for firing a warning shot. Deadly force, with prima facie evidence you aren't in fear for your life.

Fucked up world.

A virulently dangerous sort whose crime is assumed to be burglary, but is in reality a desire for violent confrontation and mayhem. If there is any "casing," it is to assure the HyperPunk a resident IS IN FACT AT HOME.
