Gun Control & RKBA

During the year I kept a list of each time a state passed and signed a pro-gun bill. Here is the list:
In many cases the MSM didn't see fit to carry the news, so I had to rely upon the NRA-ILA for the news of a bill becoming law. If someone doesn't like the source all you have to do is prove that the specific story of the bill passing and being signed is false.

(6,185 posts)... how many gun control supporters will stop supporting Dems if they don't pass "significant gun control legislation"?
One of our newer gun control fans here asked if gun owners here would stop supporting Dems if they did pass an AWB.
The short answer is probably none, since they'll do what they always do and blame the font of all evil, the NRA.

(2,708 posts)mediamatters: .. of the nearly $18 million the NRA poured into the 2012 elections, over 95% was spent on races where the NRA-backed candidate lost.
.. election spending by the National Rifle Association,.. the {NRA} had less than 1 percent return on its more than $11 million investment.
salon: The study, based on FEC reporting, found that the NRA backed 27 winning candidates, but only 0.42 percent of the $11,787,523 it spent on the election went to those candidates. Instead, 78 percent of the money went to opposing Democrats. From the report:
Furthermore, in six of seven Senate races where the NRA spent more than $100,000, the NRA-approved candidate was defeated... a myth in media that the NRA possesses the ability to remove from office politicians who favor gun violence prevention measures.
waPo: The {NRA} supported 27 winning candidates, but most of its money was spent targeting winning Democrats (including over $7 million against President Obama) or bolstering losing Republicans (including $1.8 million supporting Mitt Romney and $500,000 backing Indiana Senate candidate Richard Mourdock).
Yo, democratic undergrounders, the nra was spending much of it's money to DEFEAT democrats, this sit well with you, all?
