CAMP FOSTER, Okinawa — Japanese authorities charged two U.S. Navy sailors Tuesday with gang raping and robbing an Okinawan woman outside Kadena Air Base last month, an incident that sparked a curfew for all U.S. servicemembers in the country.

FORT CARSON, Colo. — A Fort Carson soldier has pleaded guilty in the death of his 2-year-old nephew and has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.

Daniels is one of at least five cadets charged with sexual misconduct this year. One was convicted and sentenced to prison and another had charges dropped. The other three cases are still in the military court system.
