Home medical alert systems?

I'm thinking I should buy one as I had a bad fall recently, and a few in the past.
Any suggestions or recommendations ?
I do not have a 'landline'. I have Conumser Cellular on my android phone and wifi.

Thanks

And as long as she is within voice range of any of the Alexa devices in her house she can say something like "Alexa, call John" and then the Alexa acts like a voice-activated speakerphone.

just both parties setting up the Alexa app to do this. I believe the device is to allow you to actually call 911 with Alexa. Without a special device, you can’t do that.

Sorry I don't have an answer for you, but your question made me think of this question. I will be in this position very soon and was wondering about it.

Googling a zillion sites today, I see many come with the option of a landline or cellular.
Prices do differ, with cellular being about $5 more.

Reading reviews on websites like PC Magazine, 'The Senior List', etc
Lifealert is not among the top three rated ones that I saw.
