can someone give me knowledge of rastafari?

i am moving to the virgin islands in may and there is a large rastafari population
i wikipedia and read but i still have questions
this will be a first for me
i am a member of the eastern band of the cherokee nation and have lived in florida most of my life
also any thomians here please fill me in on what to look out for?

I know there are some DUers of Carribbean descent (I'm not one of them), but I'm hard-pressed to remember their names right now...

At the moment all I can suggest are the google gods...But if you're in Florida (even in red Florida), then I'm betting there is a college campus somewhere near you with Carribbean students or faculty...

when i was in west palm it was the united nations but up here its pretty plain
i read the google and actually found what i read very interesting
