Texas assbackwardness

Since Texas, a confederate state during the Civil War would like to minimize the information that students get about the horrific institution of slavery in america and the post Civil War war white supremacist terror, KKK ect, that has infected this land all the way up June 17, 2015, I propose: How about all the modern day business interests and the multi billionaire families of those documented links to businesses that profited from labor of slaves having to pay reparations to documented families of slave descendants. If a business like I.G. Farben could possibly be forced to pay reparations to documented families of jewish slave laborers during WWII, not a stretch to me, american businesses and multi-billionaire families linked to slavery and it's trade in human misery could also be singled out. These families and businesses made huge sums of money trafficking in human tragedy, misery and degradation. They need to pay reparations now. The slave trader families who contributed to the genocide of millions during, say just the "Middle Passage" need to pay reparations now.

I know this is not an original proposition, yet given the continuing nature of racism and murders/LEO summary executions related to the racism that has a direct link to the American Slavery Era, this type of proposal MUST continuously be put forth by interested and concerned citizens who take umbrage at the continued insult of the confederate flag waving the faces of all POC who are descendants of slaves.
