Koch Brothers Investing In & Leading The Bipartisan Charge For Criminal Justice Reform

Video and More at :NewsOne

The Koch Brothers are usually in opposition of progressive views and a Democratic agenda, but there is one issue that has the duo crossing party lines in an attempt to work with both Democrats and Republicans to achieve a common goal.
Criminal justice reform is the issue that seems to have galvanized the Koch Brothers and members of the Democratic and Republican parties, who often times stand in staunch opposition to one another.
According to The Atlantic:
Though the Kochs are best known—and, to liberals, notorious—for the massive amounts of money they pour into politics, they have lately been calling attention to a less polarizing crusade: an attempt to address what they term “the overcriminalization of America.”
Mark Holden, Koch Industries senior vice president and general counsel of Koch Industries, Inc., joined Roland Martin on NewsOne Now to discuss the Koch Brothers and their focus on criminal justice reform.
Holden told Martin the Koch Brothers “care deeply” about this issue and said if you look at Charles Koch and David Koch, “Charles Koch is a classic libertarian.”
“He believes in expansive individual liberties, like in the Bill of Rights, and he also believes in guarding against infringement against those rights. He also is a strong proponent, as we all are at Koch, of removing obstacles and barriers to opportunity for all Americans, particularly the less advantaged.”

How are they planning on making a shit-ton of tax free money on this? Answer that, and you'll find their motives.

Well, you know what they say about broken clocks and all that...

I think this is great. Too bad I still wouldn't trust anything they ever did if my life depended on it.

ellen is NOT a Hillary hater - no more than I am.

It's a good piece at Red State and you know what? It SHOWS that the Republican blogosphere IS paying attention to this debate issue.

DWS is making us all look like a bunch of fuckwits who can't get our shit together - when really it is her . . . she is so PARALYZED and operating from fear she is GIVING Republicans the 'talking stick' and letting those fucking idiots determine what the key issues are.

By the time she gets off her fucking ass and gives us a debate?

Forget about the 'for the 99%'(Sanders) and 'green prosperity' (Martin O'Malley) and 'inclusive America' (Clinton) -

This election is going to be one big debate about:

1. shutting down planned parenthood
2. rounding up Latinos/Hispanics and deporting them to the country 'Africa'
3. Throwing American Muslim children in jail because they might invent something
4. Proving gravity doesn't exist.
5. Changing the minimum wage to a nickel.

Red State is watching - so are all the people our lead candidates could be touching and they are fucking lapping us. I don't care about these polls 'now'. You wait until Iowa and NH.

Come on? She can't even manage to support Democratic Candidates in her own state.

Got to hand it to her - she's a damn good politician. And that's it. This is fucking game to her.

That piece in full shows EXACTLY what the Ignorant R's think of our candidates and if anything? Erik there did a damn good job putting us on notice. They are coming for us. And all the navel gazing in the world at DU isn't going to stop THEM from crafting the discussion in 2016.

They already have.

They use Black people the same way they use white people.

But they have different feelings for Black people.

They cant be trusted to not use their agenda to harm you and me.
