A 1SBM's Thanksgiving Post-mortem ...

42 people ... including my next door neighbor and her two daughters. I think a love/lust connection was scored between my nephew and one of the daughters.

The food was all that ... including Mrs. 1SBM's new dish, Corn Pudding, which replaced my Ribs (and sauce) as the "damn, this sh!t is good" dish.

BabyGirl announced that she is graduating a year early ... but will be taking a "year off" before pursing her STEM grad studies/career.

1SBM re-captured the Dominos crown ... counting 25 as I went and getting 45 from my Brother-in-law, the reigning champ's hand.

A niece announced she is pregnant.

My grand-nephews stole the cuteness show as we watched them Whip and Na Na.

Found out Momma 1SBM diagnosed with congestive heart failure ... no prognosis yet.

It took 3 shots to get the entire family in the picture (minus 1SBM who was taking the picture) ... It'll probably take four next year (see point 5). (I wish I knew how to post pics ... I have a very attractive family)

Aunty Alice got drunk ... again. But everyone was gone before 1SBM passed out. (22 hour days are getting tough)

posting pics is easy. Get a (free) photobucket or similar hosting site. Upload your pics then copy the link to the pic you want to post and copy it in your du message.

My wife's family did the big family potluck, and they rent a hall to do it. My FIL and 6 brothers and sisters, and all their kids and grandkids. And, great grand-kids. The old generation is all still alive, in their mid-70s, and early 80s, and we are thankful for that.

We all came back with major packages of leftovers, slept in, did very little today, now watching some college football.

99 folks, she laughed and said "we're getting there!"

We sent folks home with a bunch of left overs and BabyGirl has enough for a week.

Food, friends and family. My best to your mom. My dear MIL had CHF; it's a scary thing but can be managed (but mom has to want that).

So happy for you and family.

I'm noshing on leftovers from my friends' gathering. Just returned from seeing some friends from Los Angeles. We saw a documentary called Unbranded, about some guys who rode a dozen wild horses all the way from Mexico to Canada. Really inspiring.

Have a great weekend. Catch up on sleep!

Had a nice Thanksgiving with family personally, although the outcome of the Packers-Bears game certainly put a bit of a damper on things.
