Watch These 12-Year-Olds Talk About Race More Candidly Than Most Adults Do

These children give me hope although I did tear up when that gorgeous little black boy said that he is constantly worried that he is going to be attacked on the street by cops and beaten up for no reason.

The little white girl gives me hope too. She showed more awareness and understanding of white privilege than folks 3-4 times her age.

Thanks for posting this. If there are any more videos like this in the series, I'd love to see them.

if we cherish them all, not only our country but the world will be better off.

This was the first video of the series that I have ever seen. But here is the WNYC "Being 12" website and there are some VERY interesting videos listed there: http://www.wnyc.org/series/being-12/

Hope that will help!
