C. T. Vivian close friend of MLK at March today

Not only was he invited today, but he attended today. He spoke with passion for the cause.

Reverend Joseph Lowery - Founder of the SCLC is speaking now.

I wonder if Cornel West appreciates that? I wonder why he made statements only about MLK not being invited - and nothing about Malcolm X or Medgar Evers.

Is Mrylie Evers-Williams not as valid a person for achnowledgement by West?

We come to Washington to commemorate - we going back home to agitate - Rev. Joseph Lowery.

And as Reverend Al just said - back in the 50's we marched for Emmett Till - today we march for Trayvon Martin.

There is a time for all things under the sun - today is a day for black Americans to sing out loud for justice in the bright light of the August sun.
