Cops Successfully Disarm A White Person Without Killing Them Part 11

Jesse Williams: “We know that police somehow manage to de-escalate, disarm and not kill white people everyday.”

11. James Holmes walked into a movie theater in Aurora, CO, killed 12 people and wounded 70 others.

He was arrested shortly after the shooting and stood trial for his crime. Holmes is currently serving a life sentence.

Apparently, the police do have eyes and do have brains not to shoot blindly at suspects. But what does it mean? It means those deaths of Philando Castile, Alton Sterling, Korryn Gaines, Mike Brown, Eric Garner, Sandra Bland and many others were not an accident. It means that the war on blacks is real and the media tries to blind us from the truth. The truth is people value White lives more than Black lives… Holy crap.

I fail to see how Holmes's compliance is indicative of any larger point. LanternWaste Aug 2016 #5

Holmes, he said, didn't resist, "not in the slightest. He was completely compliant"

It would be nice if the LEO community's reaction to absolute compliance was consistent, yet we're all aware that is simply not the case, so I fail to see how Holmes's compliance is indicative of any larger point.

But I appreciate these posts.

The deaths of PoC at the hands of police are the intended result of laws against every petty indiscretion passed for no other purpose than to provide police with an excuse to initiate contact with anyone they wish and that anyone is usually us.

That our blood stains the streets of this nation comes as no surprise.
