Somewhere in his head he believes that his "wise beyond my years" 23, trumps the lifetime of experience of POC more than twice his age??
Even when confronted with information from the AUTHOR of the article he linked, that he is incorrect, he persists.

Breaking: Santorum discovers a new race - The Blah People!
That's right he didn't say he's trying to keep blacks from taking other people's money, he meant the BLAH people are trying to take their money!

A few days ago we reported that GOP Presidential candidate Rick Santorum put his foot in his mouth by saying “I don’t want to make black people’s lives better by giving them somebody else’s money,” and making a few other comments about how the welfare system does and should work (of course only the welfare for black people). Britni Danielle astutely pointed out that he paused “before he said “black people” (or mmmblah… people)” And now, that’s exactly what Santorum is claiming — he didn’t say black people, he said blah people. Because blah people are an actual thing, right?
Santorum defended his tongue-slip on FOX News Channel’s “The O’Reilly Factor,” saying:
“I looked at that, and I didn’t say that. If you look at it, what I started to say is a word and then sort of changed and it sort of — blah — came out. And people said I said ‘black.’ I didn’t. And I can tell you, I don’t use — I don’t — first off, I don’t use the term ‘black’ very often. I use the term ‘African-American’ more than I use ‘black… I can tell you as someone who did more work for historically black colleges, I used to have — every year, I used to bring all the historically black colleges into Washington, DC to try to help them, because they get very little federal money through the bureaucracy, and so I help to try to introduce them to people in the Department of Education so they could have more resources.”
Wait, so… now not only did he say “blah” people and not black people (because, again, that’s an actual thing), but he’s so politically progressive that he uses the term African-American instead of black? And he spends his time hooking HBCU’s up with funding? Is any of this supposed to make him seem aware and non-racist or God-forbid a friend to the black community? And can he please explain what a “blah” person is?
All so very *concerned* and needing to teach others where *they* are wrong but vehemently dispute a word *they* dare to say.
Maybe such educators should be asked their view of The Blah People. After all, they can't talk back, as they don't exist. No one wants to hear from imaginary people. That would be a sign of poor mental health.
Now children do have *imaginary friends* and I'm wondering if teddy bears are involved here, because children speak for them however they choose. I can't imagine that this sweet little thing talking:
They're perfectly safe and can be put aside when one can't be bothered, and they never talk back.
The pitiful flailing about on those threads is like watching Ricky and his convoluted 'splaining all over again. The Déjà vu makes me wanna...
The fact that his appearance is a big event anywhere on the site, tells me it's mostly hands off for them.
I'd give that option less than a 1% chance.
