I just finished "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by Khaled Hosseini. It was such an emotionally demanding book that I had to go to something less thought-provoking.

In a couple of paragraphs in the book, the discussion about city bonds and ratings were very insightful. Zone, rezone, tear it down, build it up; just keep the money in motion....(words to that affect).
