Didn't someone here in Fiction read 12.21?

Can't find the post using Search...and gave up.

I got this from the library yesterday, and I'm up to about page 25 and don't think I'm going to like this one.

Did you like it? Should I stay with it? Thank you.

I almost stopped reading it but didn't have anything else around. I was not impressed at all. Kept thinking surely it will get better, but no such luck. I was disappointed in it overall. If you have something else to read I would recommend skipping this one.

I see this post was a couple of weeks ago, so you probably didn't finish.

No great loss.

It's not really a Mayan end of the world story, but it poses some thoughts on a variation on the theme. I felt the same way you did around page 25, and then again on page 50. . . you get the idea. But I finished it. (Spoiler: The world doesn't quite end.)

How anyone can figure out the hieroglyphics is a mystery.
