I just finished "Faithful Place" by Tana French, on audiobook. Good book, but I think it was

too long.

Main thing I liked about it was the way the reader did the Irish accents. They'd talking about "fokking" this and that.

Anyway, I did finish it.

While audio books are wonderful, I can read far faster than the readers can speak. While I agree her books run long, I have found that I really enjoy getting into the details she gives.

All I can say is, when I reached the end of Faithful Place in regular book form, it felt like it was all too soon. I could have happily kept reading for another 100 pages or more.
