he's been fantastic. He'll come back down to earth some, but he had a good year in 2011 too...and the longer the Giants wait, the bigger the price is likely to be. On the other hand, if the Giants put a decent offer in front of him by around the trade deadline, for something like 3 years. Melky, who appears to enjoy being in SF, might be persuaded to sign just for the security. I sure think he's worth the risk.
