The Mariners total of 21 runs equaled a team road record.

Their scoring of 8 runs in the 2nd and 3rd, was only the seventh time in MLB history that many runs have been scored in back to back innings.

It also was the second most runs ever allowed by the Rangers. Apparently, the Yankees scored 23 against Texas once..

I realize the Rangers are touted by the so called experts as "the team to beat"..and all that, but the Mariners scored 31 runs over the last two games of the series.

Texas hitters put up some great stats, but it's pitching that wins championships.
