The Giants are unhappy with Pablo Sandoval’s conditioning, dedication

http://hardballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/06/04/the-giants-are-unhappy-with-pablo-sandovals-conditioning-dedication/

Sandoval is still rehabbing from another broken hamate bone, and he has recently found himself in a little hot water too. If he’s letting his conditioning go enough to where his manager is once again mentioning it in public, it’s yet another thing not going well for the Panda.

Actually, seems to me there are more and more players who are slacking off, Sandoval, Beckett...they're making too much money...they have nothing to prove anymore so they figure just enjoy the ride.

The team gave Sandoval a three-year, $17.15 million contract before the season as acknowledgment for slimming down last year. They're loaded with first baseman -- they need someone at third.
