Since the Giants can't score that many runs to support his pitching, may they should help him score something that might make him the pitcher he was once again.

ranked dead last. He wouldn't be the first pitcher who flamed out after a few great years..

Giants: 46-40

Lincecum starts: 4-14

Everybody else: 42-26

On the road, Lincecum is 1-6 with an ERA of an even 9.00..and he's making 18 million this year. Slated for 22 next.

The only good thing is that the Giants didn't sign him to a long term extension..

He will start against the Astros in San Francisco in the first series after the ASG.

Unofficial scuttlebutt: It's shit or get off the pot time for Tim. If he falters in the next start, the Giants could delegate him to the bullpen or find a "reason" to place him on the DL. You wonder, if it was the latter, if there would be some AAA "rehab" included.

To be fair, he had been showing some improvement prior to the East Coast road trip. The heat and humidity, by his own admission, was a big problem.
