They did finish in the top position for the day, so it isn't too bad of a sign. They are guaranteed a spot in the finals on Monday, since they finished in the top spot in their rotation. There were a few glitches, but when you have four competitors on every event there is always going to be a few glitches. Each team gets to drop one score from each event, so as long as there isn't more than one big glitch per event it's okay

The 8PM (PT) show on NBC covered Smith's performance as well as numerous Chinese, the Japanese guy and that Irish guy (at least I thought he was Irish.)

But they blew up in the finals. Hopefully the individual competitions go better. And the US Women were great!
