thats not uncommon around here. I have plenty of friends that root for both. Since on is AL and the other NL they aren't really considered rivals by many. I however despise Angelos and won't forget how he's hurt the Nats. I am rooting for them to win because I really really really hate the Yankees (Satan: hi Joey!)

I have many friends that have gone to both Nats games and Orioles games this year and are rooting hard for a Battle of the Beltways world series.

When Washington didn't have a baseball team a lot of these folk were O's fans, anyway.
